A CASE HISTORY. To show how Vocation shows in the chart. The chart belongs to a Therapist. She is happy in her work and has been a successful Alexander Teacher for many years.

In astrology the areas of career are the sixth and tenth cusp. She has Capricorn on the tenth so we know that she is dedicated and self disciplined in work. The ruler of the midhaven Saturn was in her house of health, linking her dedicated work with health and Therapies.

She has Virgo on the sixth cusp, showing she will be methodical detailed and will stick by the rules and regulations she has been taught. She studied in the USA under a teacher called Mr. MacDonald, who was probably the last pupil of Alexander himself. the inventor of the therapy. They are both now dead. (Saturn, plant of death).

Saturn in fact rules the bones, the skeletal framework and posture, so if she was interested in therapeutic techniques we’d expect her to be either osteopathy, Chiropractice or, indeed as she is in, Alexander Technique. Saturn is traditional time tested work, and She carries on the exact trade as Alexander himself taught she hasn’t deviated from it at all.

She says she despairs of modern Alexander therapists, that the true teachings Alexander taught may die out. Modern therapists have deviated or distorted the art. ( Much the same can be said of Astrology, my own trade) In her chart the ruler of the sixth mercury is conjunct her moon, a sign of being in the public eye. This falls in the astrological house of clients, the eleventh house.

She has many famous clients on her books. Her chart shows her to be in her exact right vocation. Even the Luna node close to the sixth house suggest this was her karmic purpose in life. Good at her work and success has followed in a well deserved way.  Back to Top

YOUR CHART. What do I need to know about you other than birth data? It helps to know a few things about you and your work background. What your present job involves, and what questions you would like answered. I need this information because there are some things which your chart doesn’t show.

An astrology chart won't show which sex you are, it wont show if you were born privileged, wealthy, with the opportunity to use your talent, or into a deprived background with few openings. Two people may both have the mentality intelligence and character to be a Judge, a lawyer, scientist, and that aptitude will show in their chart. But it is only an aptitude.

If you have not been given the support, wealth and education. Then its unlikely to materialize. Your chart can show you will rise vastly in life above the expectations of your background, but to interpret that with meaning for you, we need to know what your background is. My clients come from all stations of life. All cultures and countries.

When I know where your starting from, it helps me interpret the astrological energies of you chart in a realistic way that is relevant only to you. Some clients are reluctant to give any information to an Astrologer.
